In the Goblin Market

The Imaginarium Emporium takes inspiration from everything, and this glimpse into a faerie world comes from a novel that the Queen has been reading called "With Fate Conspire" by author Marie Brennan. Its a Novel based in the 1880s in london town and is about the Irish living in London as well as the Faeries that live under London. It follows the lead faerie character Dead Rick a Skriker (Shape Shifter) who has lost all his memories and lives in the Londons Goblin Market which is run by a good fae as well as bad and unfortunately Dead Rick finds himself slave to an evil Faerie Master who is a thug in the Goblin Market. 

This Image is based on the Faerie's struggle against the Human world and our ironworks (which is Faeries Mortal enemy!) and here our impression of Dead Rick is longing for Faerie (the realm) after he has unfortunatley turned to the Green Faerie's Absinthe to visualize his lost home. 

The Imginarium loves to travel into Faerie after all "We do beleive in Faeries We Do, We do!" so this scene is a huge thank you to the Author of this beautiful novel "With Fate Conspire" and thank you for allowing the Queen and her clockwork employee's to glimpse into this wonderful story. Very inspiring.
